FAQFrequently Asked Questions

Facility

What makes your facility so special?

We’re a family-owned business, and have been giving loving care since 1983. Our convenient LAX location – along with discounted parking rates provided at The Westin Hotel – makes traveling easy and affordable for you and your pet. We have a 24-hour drop-off and pickup, large outside play yards, a pool, and a variety of accommodations to make your pet feel at home.

Does my dog need to be evaluated before joining group play?

Yes. We have a trained staff member present to ensure the socialization of your dog with others. Please be aware that with any group activity, your pet is at risk of accidentally being scratched or nipped while playing with multiple dogs.

What about bringing my a favorite blanket or toy? Also, can we bring our food bowls?

We provide cozy bedding, bowls and toys to all pets lodging with us, if desired. For cats, we have plenty of litter and litter pans, at no extra charge.

To protect the health of your pet, other pets and staff, we cannot accept any bedding or personal belongings such as toys, carriers, leashes, etc.;

My dog does not care for canine companionship. Is he able to stay at with you?

Of course. We have three different private accommodations that will keep your pup calm and happy.

I have multiple pets. Can they stay together?

Our suites are large enough to accommodate more than one dog/cat. Please see Boarding & Daycare for details & rates.

If my female is in heat or I have an intact male, may I bring them?

Yes. We have several accommodations to ensure their privacy. However, they will not be able to participate in group play.

Can I call during the night to see how my pet is doing?

Yes. You may call our after-hours phone number: (310) 242-0038.

Can I bring my pet’s own food?

Yes. In fact, we encourage you to bring your own so that the pet doesn’t have tummy issues switching to another kibble. Every day, we cook Chicken and Brown Rice for the particular pooches, and prepare Tuna or Baby Food for our finicky felines – no extra charge!

How often does my pet get fed? What happens if you run out of my food?

Your pet will be fed per your instructions. There is no extra charge for this service. Should we run out of food, we’ll give you a call. Your pet may be transferred to our kibble, or we could pick up your brand.
